ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Friday paid a visit to a government school in Islamabad and spent the day with young students quizzing them on their curriculum.
The prime minister visited the Azaan Khan Shaheed model school in F-8/3 Islamabad to review the standard of facilities being provided for students. Upon his arrival the prime minister was received by excited young students.
After inaugurating the state of the art facilities provided for students at the school, the prime minister toured different sections of the school interacting with students, quizzing them on their curriculum.
Following the uplifting of the model school, for the first time government schools have also started Montessori level classes for children.
During his visit the prime minister also reviewed the school’s Science laboratory, the computer laboratory as well as the library.
The prime minister also asked students about the state of the school as it was before the uplifting and provision of state of the art equipment.
