Renowned educationist Dr. Wahab passes away in KarachiKARACHI: Renowned educationist and Ex Vice Chancellor of Karachi University Professor Dr.Abdul Wahab passed away at private hospital in Karachi on Tuesday.
He was admitted to hospital on Monday due to serious illness. Dr. Wahab was 77.
According to his son Babar Wahab, his father was suffering from cancer and was taken to hospital due to critical condition where he was placed on a ventilator.
Dr. Abdul Wahab was the Ex Vice Chancellor of Karachi University and Ex director of IBA. Currently he was working in a private university as a Vice-Chancellor.
Dr. Abdul Wahab served the nation without fearing anyone. He was among the few successful VC’s in the history of Karachi University who made the changes on a better note.
He completed his master’s in business administration from the IBA and obtained another from Indiana in the United States of America. The deceased also had a doctorate degree from the University of British Columbia in Canada.
