Three killed as oil tanker catches fire on Super Highway   KARACHI: Three people including woman and a child were killed and several vehicles burnt when an oil tanker caught fire on Super Highway near DHA City Karachi, Motorway police said.
Four other people sustained burnt injuries and were shifted to nearby hospital.
Rescue sources said the oil tanker, en route to Hyderabad from Karachi, turned turtle after tyre burst, causing huge pile up. The tanker caught fire later on.
Two people, traveling in the car which smashed with the oil tanker, burnt to death as fire engulfed the nearby vehicles.
The fire resulted in massive traffic jam on both sides of the Super Highway.
